An Evening of Song & Story To Open Your Heart with Seán Johnson
Join New Orleans’ Sean Johnson, founder of Wild Lotus Yoga, for a special evening of chanting, song, and inspirational storytelling. Sean will share enchanting tales from the mythic world of yoga and beyond, inviting you to sing along, and to find your truth and meaning in these ancient stories.
Seán Johnson is a yoga teacher, musician, and storyteller who teaches at conferences and retreat centers internationally including Yoga Journal, Kripalu, and Bhakti Fest. He also guides Celtic Spirituality retreats in his ancestral home of Ireland each year. He is the founder of Wild Lotus Yoga studios in New Orleans, Soul School, an online interdisciplinary yoga teacher training program that focuses on teaching yoga with skill, creativity, and imagination; and The Wild Lotus Band, who merge ancient chant with roots, rock, gospel, and world grooves. Sean has a Master’s degree from The Naropa Institute-Oakland with focus on teaching chant as spiritual practice, and is the co-curater and co-producer of Putumayo World Music’s yoga music series.
